DIRECTIONS FOR USE
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces to be clean, sound and free of deleterious substances. Remove all laitance, oil, grease, paints, mould oil or curing compound from concrete surfaces using wire brush, bush hammer, scabbler or other plant as appropriate. Ensure that the substrate is flat and smooth, repairing any holes and dips to level finish. Use MULTI SELF–LEVELING screed if required. Friable screeds will have to be removed or re-screeded as necessary. Note any joints in order to follow through the epoxy screed where necessary.
PRIMING
Use MULTI POXY PRIMER or an initial coat of MULTI POXY 1938 to prime all substrates prior to final application of MULTI POXY 1938.
APPLICATION
Using a festo mixer or other suitable mechanical mixer, mix the resin and hardener together in a clean bucket or metal drum. Pour out the entire contents over the primed areas and spread out with a mohair roller for 150–200 micron coatings or steel trowel for 250 and greater micron coatings and allow to settle. Allow 24 hours before light traffic.
