THREE COMPONENT NATURAL QUARTZ SCREED
DESCRIPTION
STONE CARPET is a natural stone screed giving a decorative natural stone feel and look to floors and walls. The UV resistant binder holds the stone in place as a continuous, seamless stone screed over the install surfaces, giving a highly aesthetic feel and look that is textured yet versatile. The screed is water and chemical resistant, extremely hard and comes in selected colours or tints.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
For use in commercial and domestic flooring applications where long lasting, water resistant, chemical resistant screed is required with a high degree of decorative appeal. Used in showrooms, offices, kitchens, pools, shopping areas, floors, and other domestic applications.

WATCH POINTS
- Exposure of the screed to intense lighting or direct sunlight may produce discolouration in time
- Do not hold a full kit in a bucket for more than 5 minutes, rather pour out onto floor and trowel out within the working time of the product.
- Screeds maybe textured if pores are not filled with a pore filler.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces to be clean, sound and free of deleterious substances. Remove all laitance, oil, grease, paints, mould oil or curing compound from surfaces using wire brush, bush hammer, scabbler or other plant as appropriate.
PRIMING
Prepared surfaces are to be primed with STONE CARPET PRIMER.
APPLICATION
Mix the resin and hardener together in a clean bucket and mix in the aggregate. Mix only enough to be able to screed out within the pot life of the binder. Trowel out using steel trowels. Back roll using a tight sponge roller to work out protruding stones and resin to the surface. Allow 8-12 hours before overcoating with MULTI UV SEALER. As soon as the first coat is touch dry (2 -4 hours), a second coat of MULTI UV SEALER can be applied. Alternatively, should a smoother finish be required, seal with STONE CARPET POREFIL. Allow 24 hours before light traffic.
EQUIPMENT CARE
All tools should be cleaned with thinners immediately after use. If delayed, equipment will need mechanical action to clean or be discarded.
