DIRECTIONS FOR USE

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface to be treated should be dry and free of loose matter, moss, algae growth and curing compounds. Defective joints in brick and stonework should be repointed. It is not necessary to treat hair-line cracks, but large cracks should be made good and allowed to dry before treatment. Efflorescence should be removed from the surface by brushing. For maximum penetration smooth dense surfaces should be prepared by grit blasting, water blasting or by other mechanical means.

PRIMING

No priming required.

APPLICATION

Using a mechanical mixer, mix the resin and hardener together in a clean bucket or metal drum. Pour out the entire contents over the areas to be primed and spread out with a mohair roller for 100 micron coatings or squeegee for thicker applications. Allow 8 hours before application of topcoats or screeds. After 24 hours, the primer may need a light sanding to generate a mechanical bond for topcoats or screeds.
